Richard Maize is a Beverly Hills-based real estate investor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist who has spent almost three decades building businesses across Southern California and beyond. Often called "Richie Maize" by friends and family, Richard Maize is widely known as a mentor, and the success of his mentees, several of whom he has helped grow from low self confidence into multimillion-dollar entrepreneurs, reflects the decades of experience Richard Maize brings to every partnership.

Based in Beverly Hills, California, Richard Maize built his career as an entrepreneur and real estate investor, creating and later selling one of the nation's top mortgage banking organisations before turning his focus to real estate ventures across the Los Angeles region. As chief executive of the Maize Foundation, Richard Maize now works alongside a wide network of nonprofit and charity organisations focused on youth education and development, family services and social welfare, and culture and the arts, using the proceeds of his business success to give back to the Southern California community and beyond.

Richard Maize was born in Los Angeles, California, on October 20, 1953, and is a U.S. citizen. A Libra, he now lives in Beverly Hills, where he continues to run his real estate and investment interests alongside his philanthropic work.

Through the Maize Foundation, Richard Maize has made significant financial and in-kind contributions to organisations including the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and Share 4 Children (Share, Inc.), which supports neglected and abused children and those with developmental disabilities. The Maize Foundation, led by Richard Maize, is also a major sponsor of educational and mentoring programmes for disadvantaged youngsters across Los Angeles.

On the world stage, Richard Maize is a vocal supporter of Israeli institutions and projects, most notably Sheba Medical Center in Tel Aviv, which provides life-saving medical treatment and research.

Closer to home, Richard Maize's charity work provides clean, warm, and work-appropriate clothing to people rebuilding their lives after homelessness, through regular clothing drives across the Los Angeles region. "We are all human, we make mistakes, but we all should treat each other with kindness, dignity and respect," says Richard Maize.

Richard Maize also serves on the Cedars-Sinai Board of Trustees, along with the boards of the American Cancer Society and Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, extending his philanthropic reach well beyond his native Los Angeles and current home of Beverly Hills.
